Gardens Mall appoints new general manager

The Forbes Company has appointed Sarah Kudisch as General Manager of the Gardens Mall at Palm Beach Gardens. She brings over 15 years of experience in the shopping center and property development industries. Ms Kudisch succeeds Jim McCarten, who recently retired after serving as general manager of the Gardens Mall since 1989.

“The Gardens Mall has long been a cornerstone of this community, and we knew it was imperative to identify a new General Manager with the expertise and passion to manage the next generation of this important destination,” Nate Forbes, managing partner of The Forbes Company, said in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the team and look forward to her leadership as we continue to improve the way The Gardens Mall serves its customers and our community.”

The Gardens Mall is a 1.4 million square foot regional shopping center located in Palm Beach County, offering more than 150 stores and restaurants.

Prior to joining The Gardens Mall, Ms. Kudisch was General Manager of New England Development, where she oversaw Palm Beach Outlets, a regional outdoor mall in West Palm Beach. In addition to this role, she focused on operations, leasing, marketing, site acquisition and the development of various other business assets at New England Development. Ms. Kudisch has also held senior positions at REIT, where she oversaw the development and management of nine shopping centers along the East Coast.

Ms. Kudisch is a member and executive vice president of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Julia Murphy joins PBC’s Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County has appointed Julia Murphy as Director of Development.

Ms. Murphy brings over 13 years of experience in nonprofit management, community organizing, advocacy, program development and fundraising in public health and disease-related education. social justice. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters of Social Work from Barry University.

Her most recent role was as Director of Development for the Compass LGBTQ+ Community Center, where she shaped the agency’s fund development strategies in the areas of public relations, communications, marketing, donor management, monthly and annual giving, event culture, corporate and foundation giving, major gift planning and bequests.

Stuart Air Show hires director

The Stuart Air Show has appointed Inez van Ravenzwaaij as Executive Director.

Ms. Van Ravenzwaaij is an avid airshow enthusiast and long-time volunteer. She has over 30 years of experience in marketing and events, including managing supercars and air shows, grand openings, galas and more.

Having gained experience with events like Surprise in the Skies for the 20th anniversary of Walt Disney World, the Countdown to the Magic European promotional tour for the opening of Euro Disney and Wings & Wheels in Fort Pierce, she is recipient of numerous awards from the International Council of Airshows and International Festival & Event Association.

Ms. Van Ravenzwaaij was Marketing Manager for Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers/TCPalm, Cleveland Clinic Martin Health and, most recently, Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County.
