One man killed and one injured in shooting in Norwich

NORWICH, Conn. — Norwich police are investigating a shooting that left one dead and another injured on Sunday.

Police were called to a house in School Street to investigate a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, they found that there had been a fight at the residence and two men had been shot. A man was taken to WW Backus Hospital due to his injuries. The other succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The police will not release their identity until the next of kin are notified.
