Vancouver Canucks hire more than 60 off-ice positions to prepare for new season


In anticipation of the return of fans to Rogers Arena this fall, the Vancouver Canucks are embarking on a hiring wave.

Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) is currently hiring for a variety of full-time positions at its head office at Rogers Arena and additional staff for events. They are also hiring for a number of positions based at the Abbotsford Center, ahead of the Abbotsford Canucks AHL team debut. Departments of the organization fulfill roles including sales and marketing, part-time event staff and arena operations, administration, cooking, service and finance.

Sales and communications professionals including crypto and blockchain experts, chefs, electricians, communications professionals, etc. are encouraged to apply.

Available positions include:

Manager, Strategy and NFT Development – This new position will oversee the creation and execution of CSE’s non-fungible token strategy.

Culinary roles – The CSE hires skilled chefs to manage internal operations and provide cutting-edge hospitality, service and food to fans.

Hospitality managers – Front-of-house and quick-service catering will be responsible for part-time reception staff and front-of-house operations.

Director, Hotel Information Technology – This role will lead, plan and design the technological infrastructure of the Rogers Arena supporting hospitality operations.

Director, Communications – The Director of Communications will work directly with the team and staff to engage with media and broadcast partners in Vancouver and on the road.

Financial roles – The finance department is looking for accountants and payroll coordinators to support the CSE.

Content Producer – This position will produce Canucks and Warriors content for digital and linear platforms.

E-Commerce and Retail Systems Coordinator – The coordinator will be responsible for the performance of CSE’s retail website,, implement a new inventory system, and create and manage product launches and marketing campaigns.

The CSE will also begin recruiting for event-based hourly positions in several departments at the end of July. Roles that need to be filled include fast service and premium retail hospitality, ticketing center, and more.
